Whirled Piece (of art) is a play on words of Whirled peas (World Peace).This is a dimensional painting that is meant to be touched. I painted this in honor of Earth Day for this month of April. Touch my world, touch our world. This was on exhibit at the Long Beach Main Public Library in the Civic Center downtown from 2015-2017.
About Amelie Simmons
I am an artist using acrylic paint as my primary medium of choice to create my illusions of reality. My genre of painting include traditional impressionism, abstract, and dimensional (3D touch me) paintings. I enjoy exploring different styles of art, from fine detailed brushstrokes to the spontaneity of painting freely with my fingers. My passion for my artwork originates from a strong desire to capture images of life moments, places, and feelings onto canvas. I find inspiration locally and from my adventures while traveling.
